Terms of Use

Applies to the Tama app for iPhone and the tama3d.com site · Updated July 23, 2026

These terms form an agreement between you and the operator of Tama (Tama · Emil Nizamiev, “we”). By installing the app, signing in or using tama3d.com you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.

In brief

  • We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. Violating content is removed and the offending account is terminated.
  • Everything you publish is moderated before it appears to anyone else: automated checks followed by human review.
  • Any published model can be reported, and its author hidden, from inside the app.
  • You are responsible for what you enter and upload, photos included: you must hold the rights to them.
  • Scenes and lessons are generated by AI — they can be wrong and do not replace a teacher or a professional.

What Tama is

Tama turns a text prompt or a photo into an interactive 3D scene, offers lessons in chemistry, physics and biology, walks you through solid-geometry problems, and hosts a shared library where users can publish the models they have made. We may change, add or withdraw features as the service evolves.

Your account

Browsing the library on the website needs no account. Publishing models and keeping your progress requires signing in: in the Russian App Store storefront this is Yandex ID, in all other storefronts it is Sign in with Apple. The sign-in method available to you depends on your region.

  • Your account is personal. Do not share access and do not create accounts on behalf of other people.
  • Publishing requires a handle. Your handle, display name and bio are user content too, and every rule below applies to them.
  • Do not impersonate another person, an organisation, or the Tama team.
  • You can delete your account and its server-side data in the app's settings. Deleting the app removes local data only.

Credits and limits

Generating a scene spends credits: currently 1, 2 or 3 credits depending on the level of detail you choose. A free allowance is granted every day (currently 15 credits per day), and the number of publications is capped as well (currently 3 per day). These limits are configured in the service and may change; the app always shows the current values.

There are no in-app purchases at this time. Credits are an internal unit for metering load: they are not money, hold no monetary value, and are neither exchangeable nor refundable. Do not attempt to circumvent the quotas — no scripted requests, no multiple accounts to raise your limits, no forging device attestation, and no interference with our servers.

Zero tolerance for objectionable content

We operate a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and for abusive behaviour towards other users. Content that breaches these terms is removed, and the account responsible for it is terminated — without prior warning and without any refund of spent credits. We aim to review every report and remove violating content within 24 hours of being notified.

What you may not generate or publish

You may not create, upload or publish through Tama:

  • sexual or pornographic material of any kind, and above all any sexualised depiction of a minor;
  • violence, gore, mutilation, or cruelty towards people or animals;
  • hateful or discriminatory material targeting nationality, race, sex, religion, orientation, disability or any other protected characteristic, including hate-group symbols;
  • harassment, bullying, threats or abuse directed at an identifiable person;
  • material that promotes self-harm, eating disorders or suicide;
  • instructions or material facilitating illegal activity — drugs, weapons, explosives, hacking, fraud;
  • other people's personal data, including names, addresses, phone numbers and recognisable likenesses used without consent;
  • material that infringes anyone's copyright, trade marks or other rights;
  • malicious code, or input crafted to disrupt the app or our servers;
  • spam, advertising, vote or rating manipulation, and meaningless or duplicated publications;
  • any attempt to evade moderation or filters, including deliberately disguised wording.

You are responsible for what you upload

You are fully responsible for everything you submit to the service: prompt text, titles, descriptions and labels, your profile details and — we stress this specifically — any photo you upload. By uploading a photo you confirm that you have the right to use it: you took it yourself or have the rights holder's permission, and no one depicted in it objects to it being processed. Do not upload other people's photos, stills from films or games, images of identity documents, or anyone else's personal data.

You keep the rights to the scenes you create. By publishing a model you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store it, display it in the feed, in the top charts and on tama3d.com, and to generate and display its preview image — to the extent needed to operate the service. The licence lasts while the model is published; unpublishing it or deleting your account ends the licence going forward.

Moderation

Every publication is screened before other users can see it. Automated filters run first, checking the text and the structure of the scene for prohibited subject matter and for evasion attempts. The publication then waits for a moderator's decision with a “pending review” status; until it is approved, only you can see it. Rejected publications remain visible only to their author and to moderators.

We may hide, reject or delete any content, restrict access to features, and suspend an account or a device at any time and without prior notice, where we consider that these terms have been breached or that the service and its users are being harmed. Automated filters are not perfect and are no guarantee that unwanted content will never appear — which is why reporting exists.

Reporting and blocking

If you see a violation, tell us — it takes one tap:

  • Report. Every published model carries a report button. The report goes to our moderators, and once several reports accumulate the model is automatically withdrawn from publication pending review.
  • Hide the author. The same screen lets you hide an author: their models disappear from your feed, from the top charts and from your home screen. Tapping again brings them back.
  • Write to us. For serious cases, or anything that concerns you personally, email [email protected].

We review reports and act on them — up to removing the content and banning the author — within 24 hours. Abusing the reporting tools with mass false reports is itself a breach of these terms.

AI output comes with no accuracy guarantee

Scenes, worked solutions and lesson material in Tama are produced by artificial-intelligence models. They may contain factual errors, oversimplifications, wrong proportions and imprecise wording, and the same prompt may yield different results. Tama is a visual aid, not an authority: do not rely on it in place of a textbook, a teacher, laboratory measurement, or professional advice — medical, legal, engineering or otherwise. Verify anything that matters against authoritative sources.

Age

Tama is not directed at children under 13. We neither ask for nor store a date of birth: the app receives only an age range from the system, through Apple's declared age range mechanism. If the system reports an “under 13” range, the community and publishing surface is closed entirely. If no answer is given or sharing is declined, the app falls back to its 13+ configuration. Users under 18 need permission from a parent or legal guardian, who accepts these terms on their behalf and is responsible for their compliance.

Availability of the service

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, the preservation of server-side user data, or that a generated result will meet your expectations. We may change, suspend or discontinue any feature, including the free daily allowance. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or lost data arising from your use of the service. Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot be limited by law, including consumer rights.

The app and the App Store

These terms are between you and the operator of Tama, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app, its content, its support, or any claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and are entitled to enforce them against you. You may use the app only on devices you own or control, and only in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service.

Privacy

What data the service processes, why, and what rights you have is set out in our Privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

Changes to these terms

When we update these terms we change the date at the top of the page. Material changes are reflected in the app's update notes in the App Store. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the new version.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the operator's place of establishment, save where mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence apply. Before taking any dispute further, please write to [email protected] — nearly everything is resolved by email. If any provision of these terms is held invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force.
